    The Abundant Life Flourishing Program is an interdisciplinary research initiative based at Regent University’s School of Psychology and Counseling. Our mission is to explore and promote the science of Christian flourishing, integrating insights from psychology, theology, and other relevant fields.
  2. What does “Abundant Life” mean?
    Our understanding of “Abundant Life” is inspired by the Gospel of John 10:10. We perceive it as a holistic sense of well-being that transcends mere happiness or material prosperity. It’s about living a life rich in purpose, relationships, spirituality, and contribution to the community.
  3. Who can participate in your events and workshops?
    Our events and workshops are open to anyone interested in the field of Christian flourishing. This includes students, researchers, mental health professionals, pastors, and individuals keen to enhance their well-being through the framework of the Christian faith.
  4. Do you offer any resources for mental health professionals?
    Yes, we provide clinical training and resources to help mental health professionals integrate faith-based perspectives in their practice. Our clinical translations, led by Dr. Rachel Stephens, equips clinicians with the tools to address issues of meaning, purpose, and well-being in therapy from a Christian perspective.
